About
ABOUT JOYVELO
Independent cycling reviews, race coverage, and data analysis for riders who read the spec sheet.
What we do
JoyVelo covers four things: News for hardware and software launches, WorldTour for the UCI season calendar and live standings, Reviews for protocol-level gear tests, and JoyAnalyze, our data lab for multi-file power-meter and trainer comparison.
How we test
Every review states its protocol before it states its verdict: reference devices, repeatable conditions, and quantitative outputs you can check yourself. Where a claim comes from the manufacturer rather than from our own test, we say so.
Editorial independence
We review products we would use ourselves, including things we think are over-priced. We do not accept payment for a rating, and sponsored placements are labelled as such on the page.
