TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using joyvelo.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your password (or OAuth account) secure.
  • One account per person. Bots / scrapers are not allowed.
  • You must be at least 13 years old. Users under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent.

3. Your data

You keep ownership of everything you upload (training files, fitting reports, route notes). You grant us a non-exclusive license to store, process, and display it as needed to run the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you don't have the right to upload (copyrighted GPX routes from paid services, photos of other people, etc.).
  • Use the service to harass, defame, or harm others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
  • Use the site for commercial purposes without written permission (e.g. reselling our training plans as your own).

5. Health disclaimer

JoyVelo is a fitness-tracking tool, not a medical device. The training plans, fitting recommendations, and analytics we provide are informational only. Don't rely on them for medical decisions. Consult a qualified coach or physician before starting any new training program. If you experience pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath during exercise, stop and seek medical advice.

6. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but provide the service "as is". We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time with or without notice. Paid features (if any) will have separate terms.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from /account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JoyVelo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (which is $0 today because the service is free).

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Delaware.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the /news feed and via email (for signed-in users) at least 14 days before they take effect.
