What you need

Browser

Chrome, Edge, or any Chromium-based browser. Safari and Firefox don't yet implement Web Bluetooth. Mobile Chrome (Android) is supported.

HTTPS

Web Bluetooth only works on HTTPS (or localhost in dev). JoyVelo is already HTTPS, so you're good on the live site.

Sensors

Any Bluetooth LE sensor broadcasting standard GATT services: Heart Rate (0x180D), Cycling Power (0x1818), Cycling Speed and Cadence (0x1816), Running Speed and Cadence (0x1813). Most modern sensors are compatible.

Smart trainer

FTMS-over-BLE supported trainers: Wahoo KICKR (V1-V6, CORE, MOVE), Tacx NEO (2T, 3M), Elite Avanti / Direto / Suito, JetBlack Volture. Set grade or target watts from the live dashboard.

Not yet on Web: ANT+ protocol (no browser support; only USB dongles via WebUSB, and most browsers disable this). For ANT+ devices you need the companion app to bridge to Bluetooth. Sessions can be recorded on a Garmin or Wahoo head unit and uploaded as .fit when done.
