4iiii has rolled out a firmware update (v3.2) and matching hardware revision for the PRECISION 3 Pro that adds independent left/right power measurement. The new dual-strain-gauge hardware shipped from Q1 2026, and the firmware unlocks the second channel on existing units that already have the hardware.

How it worksUnlike Favero鈥檚 solution (two separate pods), 4iiii fits both strain gauges inside the same single-sided pod and infers the missing side鈥檚 power from cadence and total output. The reported accuracy for L/R balance is 卤2%, compared to Favero鈥檚 claimed 卤1%.

Price and availabilityThe PRECISION 3 Pro with L/R balance remains at $649 USD for the dual-leg set 鈥?the same price as before the firmware upgrade. This is the most affordable way to get left/right power data on the market, undercutting Favero Assioma PRO MX by ~$200.
