Quarq Refreshes DZero Power Meter with New ICG Calibration

Quarq (SRAM鈥檚 power meter brand) has released a 2026 refresh of its DZero spider-based power meter. The headline change is a new calibration routine that compensates for temperature drift across a wider operating range.

Why temperature compensation mattersPower meters drift in the cold. The biggest single source of error in winter riding isn鈥檛 calibration drift 鈥?it鈥檚 thermal sensitivity. A meter calibrated at 20掳C can read 3鈥?% high at 5掳C if it lacks temperature compensation. The new DZero algorithm compensates continuously, so a winter descent at 2掳C will show the same wattage as the equivalent effort in summer.The new DZero 2026 starts at $1,099 USD for the spider only, or $1,399 with a Quarq carbon crank arm. Existing DZero owners can update firmware for free.
