Wahoo Roam V3 Spotted in Wild: Specs Suggest 700-nit Display and USB-C

A prototype Wahoo Roam V3 was photographed at an industry event in Boulder, Colorado, this week. The leaked unit shows a brighter 700-nit display and the long-awaited USB-C charging port 鈥?a major upgrade from the microUSB on the current V2.

Why it mattersUSB-C is overdue. Wahoo was the last major bike computer manufacturer still using microUSB. The V2's 400 nits is hard to read in direct sun; 700 nits is competitive with the Garmin Edge 540 and Bryton Rider S800.
