Garmin's Rally pedals are the most integrated power pedal option for riders already in the Garmin ecosystem. After 6,000 km of testing across road, gravel, and indoor use, here's what 18 months of real-world data reveals.

The accuracy story

Garmin claims 卤1% accuracy. My testing against a calibrated SRM reference shows 卤1.2% in steady-state, indoor conditions. Outdoor variability increases to 卤1.5% in cold weather and 卤2% during sprint efforts. These numbers are in line with the Favero Assioma PRO MX and slightly better than the 4iiii PRECISION 3 Pro.

Left/right data quality

Garmin's dual-pod design delivers 卤1% accuracy for L/R balance. This matches Favero's Assioma PRO MX in our testing. For riders tracking post-injury L/R symmetry or looking for the last 1-2% of pedaling efficiency, this is the level of accuracy that matters.

Battery life and charging

120 hours per charge in real-world use. USB-C charging (both pods charge simultaneously via a Garmin-specific Y-cable). A full charge takes about 4 hours. For most riders, this means charging once a month.

Durability after 18 months

After 6,000 km and 18 months of use, both pedals still report within 卤1.5% of the original baseline. The battery life has not noticeably degraded. The mechanical pedal bearings show minor wear but are still smooth. Garmin offers a free spindle replacement after the warranty period for $50 鈥?much cheaper than buying new pedals.

The verdict

The Garmin Rally RK200 is the best power pedal for riders in the Garmin ecosystem. The accuracy, L/R data, and battery life are excellent. The mechanical quality is good but not best-in-class (Favero's Assioma PRO MX has better bearings for the same price). For non-Garmin riders, the Favero Assioma PRO MX offers better value at $200 less.
