Real-world Testing
900 km of training and touring gave a clear picture. GPS accuracy was within 2-3 meters in mixed conditions, comparable to the Garmin Edge 550 and slightly worse than the Edge 850. Battery life hit 21 hours in normal mode. The maps are functional and routable, with regional preloads covering most of Europe, North America, and East Asia.
The iGPSPORT companion app is less polished than Garmin Connect or Wahoo Companion, but it covers the essentials: ride sync, route planning, sensor pairing, and firmware updates. The route planning tool is web-based and reasonably powerful, comparable to RideWithGPS in core functionality.
